Aliaxis SA, a world leader enabling access to water and energy through innovative fluid management solutions, today announced the acquisition of Lareter, a market leader in the industrial segment in Italy.
Aliaxis strengthens its leading position in industrial fluid conveyor systems through the acquisition of Lareter, the Italian market leader in PVC pressure pipes used in water treatment and other industrial markets such as swimming pools or shipbuilding.
Lareter has a strong presence in Europe, especially in the markets of Italy, France and Germany. Founded in 1961, the company generates an annual turnover of approximately 40M€ and employs 85 people in the Veneto plant in Fiesso Umbertiano in the province of Rovigo.
This acquisition is an important step in the implementation of the Aliaxis strategy "Growth with Purpose", which strengthens the Group's entrepreneurial capacity in Europe.
