DUAL BLOCK® TWO-WAY BALL CONTROL VALVE
The VKR DUAL BLOCK® valve combines the high levels of reliability and safety typical of the VKD full bore ball valve with the new flow regulation function with linear type characteristic curve which meets the most stringent requirements typical of industrial applications.
FEATURES COMMON TO ALL VKRs:
- Jointing system for gluing (only PVC-U), for welding (only PP-H and PVDF), for threading and for flanging
- SEAT STOP® patented ball support system, which allows for micro-adjustment of the seals and minimization of the effect of axial thrusts
- Easy radial disassembly from the system and consequent rapid replacement of O-Rings and ball seals without the use of any tools
- Radial dismantling valve body (True union) made by injection molding in PVC-U, PP-H and PVDF equipped with integrated drilling for actuation. Test requirements according to ISO 9393
- Possibility of disassembling the downstream piping with the valve in the closed position
- Stem with high surface finish with double O-Ring and with double key for connection to the ball
- Support integrated in the body for fixing the valve
- Adjustment of the ball seal holder can be done using the Easytorque adjustment kit
- Actuation options: version with modulating electric actuator with 4-20mA/0-10V input and 4-20mA/0-10V output for position monitoring
- Valve suitable for conveying clean fluids free from suspended particles
- Patented DUAL BLOCK® system, the locking system ensures the tightening of the ring nuts even in the case of severe service conditions such as for example, in the presence of vibrations or thermal expansion.
Manual valves
SPECIFIC CHARACTERISTICS VKR MANUAL DN 10:50:
- Ergonomic multifunction handle in HIPVC equipped with position indicator and removable key for adjusting the support of the ball seals
- Flow direction and opening angle indication plate with graduated scale with 5° detail for a clear and accurate reading
- 90° operating angle allowing use of standard quarter-turn actuators
- Patented ball design that ensures linear flow regulation over the entire operating range, starting from the first degrees of valve opening, and guarantees extremely low pressure drop values
Valves actuated
VKR SPECIFIC CHARACTERISTICS IMPLEMENTED DN 10:50:
- Modulating electric actuator made to FIP specifications; with shells in plastic material and manual emergency control as standard. Available in voltages from 12 to 240V with 4-20mA and 0-10V input.
- Stem with high surface finish with double o-ring seal. The double key connection system guarantees a robust and reliable transmission of the actuator torque to the ball.
- PowerQuick module for pneumatic or electric actuation made entirely of highly robust and easy to install technopolymer.
- Patented ball design that ensures linear flow regulation over the entire operating range, starting from the first degrees of valve opening, and guarantees extremely low pressure drop values
