Valves, fittings and pipe in PPH
PPH (polypropylene homopolymer) is a partially crystalline thermoplastic resin belonging to the polyolefin family.
PPh is the result of the polymerization of propylene (C3H6) with the help of catalysts.
The PPH line in latest generation Homopolymer Polypropylene consists of a complete range of pipes, fittings and valves to be used in the construction of process and service lines for conveying industrial fluids under pressure for maximum operating temperatures up to 100°C .
The entire line is made using Polypropylene Homopolymer resins MRS 100 (PP-H 100) according to classification DIN 8077-8078, DIN 16962 and approved by DIBt - Deutsches Institut für Bautechnik for use in industrial processes.
Features of the PPH
For use in piping systems, the latest generation Polypropylene Homopolymer, PPH, offers excellent performance up to high operating temperatures and high resistance to chemical attack thanks to the physical characteristics of the PPH material.
Among the main properties of the latest generation homopolymer resins we can mention:
High chemical resistance
The use of PPH (Polypropylene) resins, in addition to guaranteeing excellent chemical resistance, specifically against halogens and alkaline solutions, allows, thanks to the use of particular additives, the maintenance of high mechanical characteristics also in the transport of detergents and products similar chemists. The PPH material offers complete compatibility also in the transport of drinking water and water to be made potable, demineralised water and thermal waters for curative use as well as for physiotherapy.
Excellent thermal stability
Especially in the intermediate temperature range between 10°C and 80°C, typical of industrial applications, PPH guarantees performances of excellent mechanical and impact resistance with high safety factors.
Duration over time
The PPH material has a high circumferential breaking load value (Minimum Required Strength MRS≥ 10.0 MPa at 20°C) and made it possible to obtain extremely long life times of the installations, without any particular physical-mechanical decay.
PPH valves, PPH pipe and PPH fittings: a complete system
PPH is widely used in industrial applications due to its high resistance to chemical agents, the ability to operate in a wide range of temperatures and the joining system by means of polyfusion welding.
Our range in PPH (homopolymer polypropylene) is suitable for the assembly of process and service lines intended for the distribution of aggressive industrial fluids under pressure.
PPH systems lend themselves to a variety of applications, including mixing and dosing of chemicals and treatment of exhaust gases.
Our solutions have been selected by some of the major international metallurgical, iron and steel and mining companies, for extraction, surface treatment and acid regeneration processes.

to the most stringent requirements required in industrial applications.
VKR Dual Block - VALVE in PPH
DUAL BLOCK® regulating ball valve.
The VKR DUAL BLOCK® valve combines the high levels of reliability and safety typical of the VKD full bore ball valve with the new flow regulation function with linear type characteristic curve which meets the most stringent requirements typical of industrial applications.
TKD Dual Block - VALVE in PPH
DUAL BLOCK® 3-way ball valve.
FIP has developed a TKD DUAL BLOCK® type ball valve to introduce a high reference standard
in the conception of thermoplastic valves. TKD is a sorting ball valve and
radially disassembled mixing valve that meets the most stringent requirements required in industrial applications.
SR - VALVE in PPH
Ball check valve.
The check valve SR has the function of allowing the passage of the fluid in one direction only.
FK - VALVE in PPH
Butterfly valve.
The FK is a shut-off and regulation butterfly valve, with structural characteristics that are ideal for use in industrial applications that require high performance and reliability over time. This valve is also equipped with the customized Labeling System.
DK Dialock - VALVE in PPH
DIALOCK® 2-way diaphragm valve.
The DK DIALOCK® diaphragm valve is ideal for regulating and shutting off abrasive fluids or fluids with impurities. The new internal geometry of the body significantly increases the flow coefficient, reduces pressure drops and allows accurate adjustment over the entire poppet stroke. The DK has reduced dimensions and weight. The innovative handwheel is equipped with a patented mechanism for locking the manoeuvre, immediate and ergonomic, which allows you to lock any adjustment position reached.
CM - VALVE in PPH
Compact diaphragm valve.
The CM is a manually operated diaphragm valve of reduced dimensions and particularly compact structure, ideal for use in confined spaces.
VM - VALVE in PPH
Diaphragm valve.
The VM is particularly suitable for regulating and shutting off fluids that are abrasive or contain impurities. The handwheel control and the diaphragm seal allow precise and effective regulation and reduce the risk of water hammer to a minimum.
