1. The personal information we collect and why

The personal information that we may collect about you through the Website broadly falls into the following categories:

Information that you provide voluntarily

We collect personal information that you provide voluntarily through our Website, for example when completing online form to contact us or subscribing to our newsletter. The information we collect about you may include some or all of the following:

The types of information we collect from third parties include the type of CAD models downloaded, the frequency of downloads, the products of interest or for which a request was sent, the type of user and general user identification data and we use the information we receive from these third parties to in order to improve the service provided through the third party site, to respond to the requests received and to provide the materials and information requested, to better understand the users’ needs and to keep them updated on new products and services that may be relevant or useful to his business.

Children

We are committed to protect children’s privacy. Our Website is not designed for children and we do not knowingly collect personal information about them.

2. The legal basis for processing personal information

Our legal basis for collecting and using the personal information described above will depend on the personal information concerned and the specific context in which we collect it.

  • our professional advisors and auditors;
  • any competent law enforcement body, regulator, government agency and/or court; and
  • any person for which you have given your consent regarding the disclosure of your personal information.

We may also disclose your personal information to a third party as part of a reorganization of the Aliaxis Group or a sale of the assets of its members or divisions.

We retain personal information we collect from you where we have an ongoing legitimate business need to do so (for example, to provide you with a service you have requested or to comply with applicable legal, tax or accounting requirements).

When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, your personal information will (where possible and practical) be deleted or rendered anonymous through the removal, substitution or blocking of details which enable you to be identified.

6. Will your personal information be transferred abroad?

The Aliaxis Group operates at a global level and, as a result, we may need to transfer your personal information to members of the Aliaxis Group or to third-party service providers located in countries other than the ones in which our personal information was originally collected.

In such case, we will implement appropriate safeguards to ensure that an adequate level of protection for any personal information transferred.

Where the transfer relates to personal information of European residents to countries outside the European Union (EU) and European Economic Area (EEA), we will take the required measures to provide an adequate level of data protection under EU law, such as entering into EU standard contractual clauses with the party who is receiving the data.

3. Con chi e in che modo sono condivise le informazioni personali dell’utente

Per le finalità di cui sopra, la Società potrà condividere le informazioni personali dell’utente con le seguenti categorie di destinatari:

  • membri del Gruppo Aliaxis; e le seguenti parti:
  • provider e fornitori della Società, compresi quelli che forniscono servizi come analitica dei dati, hosting di siti Web, assistenza tecnica, consegna di pacchi, invio di posta ed e-mail, eliminazione di informazioni ripetitive dagli elenchi clienti, assistenza alle vendite e al marketing, elaborazione dei pagamenti con carta di credito e servizio clienti;
  • utilizzo della guida alle compatibilità chimiche: se l'utente desidera ottenere una copia PDF della dichiarazione che ha preparato sul nostro strumento online, registremo:
    - nome e cognome;
    - azienda;
    - indirizzo di posta elettronica
    Registreremo anche il consenso all'utilizzo dei suoi dati personali. Nessun ulteriore dato sarà raccolto o sarà raccolto solo su base volontaria. Utilizzeremo tali dati solo per contattare l'utente e dare seguito all'invio del report che ha preparato all'interno dello strumento e non condivideremo tali dati con terze parti.
    Il trattamento delle informazioni inserite nel form di download della Guida alla resistenza chimica avverrà esclusivamente sulla base del suo consenso (Art. 6 Sez. 1 lett. a GDPR). Il consenso potrà essere revocato inviandoci una richiesta (vedasi punto 10). Resta salva la liceità delle operazioni di trattamento dei dati effettuate fino a tale data.
    I dati depositati presso di noi ai fini della guida alla resistenza chimica verranno da noi archiviati per un periodo di 5 anni e saranno cancellati dopo tale periodo. I dati archiviati per altri scopi con noi rimangono inalterati.
  • consulenti e revisori professionisti della Società;
  • qualsiasi organo competente preposto all’applicazione della legge, regolatore, agenzia governativa e/o tribunale; e qualsiasi persona per cui l’utente abbia prestato consenso in relazione alla divulgazione dei propri dati personali.

La Società potrà anche divulgare le informazioni personali dell’utente a terzi nell’ambito di una riorganizzazione del Gruppo Aliaxis o di una vendita dei beni dei suoi membri o delle sue divisioni.

4. Conservazione dei dati

La Società conserva le informazioni personali raccolte dall’utente laddove abbia una legittima esigenza aziendale in corso per farlo (per esempio, al fine di fornire all’utente un servizio richiesto o di adempiere ai requisiti legali, fiscali o contabili applicabili).

Nel caso in cui la Società non abbia nessuna legittima esigenza aziendale in corso, le informazioni personali dell’utente saranno (ove possibile e opportuno) cancellate o rese anonime mediante l’eliminazione, la sostituzione o il blocco dei dettagli che consentono l’identificazione dell’utente.

5. Diritti dell’utente in materia di protezione dei dati

Gli utenti hanno i seguenti diritti in materia di protezione dei dati:

  • diritto di ottenere la conferma del fatto che le proprie informazioni personali siano trattate o meno e, in caso affermativo, il diritto di accedere a e/o ricevere una copia delle proprie informazioni personali;

  • diritto di ottenere la cancellazione delle proprie informazioni personali;
  • diritto di limitare il trattamento delle proprie informazioni personali secondo determinati fondamenti giuridici;
  • diritto a opporsi al trattamento delle proprie informazioni personali per motivi connessi con la propria situazione specifica, ove detto trattamento sia necessario ai fini di un interesse legittimo della Società;
  • diritto di chiedere di non ricevere più le comunicazioni di marketing inviate loro, in qualsiasi momento;
  • diritto di ricevere le proprie informazioni personali in formato strutturato, comunemente utilizzato e leggibile meccanicamente, nonché di far trasmettere le proprie informazioni personali a un altro titolare del trattamento;
  • diritto di revocare il proprio consenso in qualsiasi momento nel caso in cui il trattamento delle informazioni personali si basi sul proprio consenso. La revoca del consenso non condizionerà la legittimità di alcun trattamento effettuato prima di detta revoca, né condizionerà il trattamento di informazioni personali svolto facendo affidamento su altri fondamenti giuridici; e
  • diritto di presentare un reclamo all’autorità competente in materia di tutela dei dati.

6. Le informazioni personali dell’utente saranno trasferite all’estero?

Il Gruppo Aliaxis opera a livello globale, dunque potrà avere bisogno di trasferire le informazioni personali degli utenti ad altre società del Gruppo Aliaxis o a fornitori di servizi terzi ubicati in paesi diversi da quelli in cui le informazioni personali sono state inizialmente raccolte.

In questo caso, saranno implementate misure di salvaguardia appropriate per garantire un livello adeguato di tutela di qualsiasi informazioni personale trasferito.

Se il trasferimento riguarda informazioni personali di residenti europei in paesi al di fuori dell’Unione Europea (UE) e dell’Area Economica Europea (AEE), saranno adottate le misure richieste per garantire un livello adeguato di tutela dei dati ai sensi della legge UE, come la stipula di clausole contrattuali UE standard con la parte che riceverà i dati.

La Società si impegna a tutelare la riservatezza e la sicurezza delle informazioni fornitele dagli utenti, e adotta misure di sicurezza tecniche, fisiche e organizzative adeguate al fine di prevenire qualsiasi accesso non autorizzato o danno alle, o divulgazione o perdita delle informazioni personali dell’utente raccolte e trattate. Le misure adottate mirano a garantire un livello di sicurezza adeguato rispetto al rischio del trattamento delle informazioni personali dell’utente.

Si noti che le comunicazioni su internet come le e-mail non sono sicure a meno che non siano crittografate.
