Advantages

User-friendly solutions

Insertion sensors are quickly installed by simply drilling a hole in the pipe, while pressure and level sensors have numerous installation options that make assembly equally practical and fast. The adoption of Bluetooth wireless technology also makes connecting sensors to monitors simple and immediate. FIP brand instruments also have an intuitive and error-proof interface thanks to the practical on-board help, guided setting procedures and system self-diagnostics.

Applications

The correct management of the water system at the base of the swimming pool system passes through the monitoring of the volumes. In the case of volumes conveyed inside pipes we will monitor the flow rate, in the case of the volume accumulated in the compensation tank we will measure the level value.

Flow Monitoring

The recirculation system must be designed to ensure effective homogenization of the pool water, for this reason UNI 10637:2016 prescribes adhering to water speeds in the pipe <1.7m/s in suction and <2.5 m/s in delivery; while UNI EN 10713-2 prescribes a speed <3m/s for type D pools. In the section of the system preceding the filtration phase, it is recommended to use a flow meter based on the electromagnetic technology F6.60 series. In the part of the system downstream of the filtration phase, it is instead possible to install a rotor sensor equipped with the new Bluetooth wireless technology of the F3.00.W series, which can be combined with the M9.00 series monitor equipped with the practical Help on Board, the guided calibration procedure and the system self-diagnosis.

Level Monitoring

The conventional volume of the compensation tank must be sufficient to contain the displaced volume and any wave motion generated by the maximum number of bathers, the volume generated by the backwashing of at least one filter, the volume necessary to maintain correct suction and avoid dry running. The replenishment of the compensation tank must be activated before reaching the minimum level to avoid the pumps being put on stand-by, therefore the importance of accurately monitoring the volume of water is evident. To monitor the volume inside the compensation tank, a hydrostatic level sensor series HF6 can be applied that can be combined with the monitors series M9.10. The same transmitter can also be installed on the sand filter to check its efficiency level and plan the backwashing operations.
